What can I say? This couple was great to work with ~ from their engagement session at GVSU to their ceremony at Stetson Chapel to their entertaining reception at Loft 310 ~ there was never a dull moment. Sarah is a girl who knows what she wants, elegant and classy! Her dress was unique and reflected her personality. Jason was animated and full of energy/soul. Kalamazoo College has many beautiful old buildings that served as stellar backdrops for their wedding photos. The love between the couple and their friends/family was evident to all. Their first dance was perfectly choreographed and the dance floor was hopping all night! To wrap up the perfect day, a view of the cozy city of Kalamazoo from the rooftop of the Loft 310. I love my job!!! Congrats Jason and Sarah!!!
Sarah and her bridesmaids got ready at the beautiful Radisson Hotel downtown Kalamazoo. The rooms were bright and spacious to accommodate hair and makeup. Sarah put her dress on in a private room and then had a reveal to her bridesmaids, they were ecstatic!

The Stetson Chapel on the Kalamazoo College Chapel is an exquisite venue for a wedding ceremony. The Wedding chapel was bright and Cheerful with many windows and gorgeous white pillars, chandeliers and crown molding! 
The campus of Kalamazoo College had many unique and superb buildings and scenery for outdoor wedding photos. 
Sarah custom ordered sunglasses for her bridesmaids with individual captions for each of her girls. Her bright colored flowers ~ which included stunning peonies!~ were created by Schafer’s Flowers in Kalamazoo. http://www.schafers-flowers.com/ 
On the way to the reception we stopped at this bridge along the Kalamazoo River for some gorgeous outdoor wedding photos!
The absolutely divine wedding cake was created by Kalamazoo’s very own Bert’s Bakery on Westnedge Ave. It was a unique flavor of poppy seed with almond frosting and topped with yummy berries. http://www.bertsbakery.com/ 
The groom is a marvelous dancer and had a perfectly choreographed first dance with his bride and entertaining shuffle with his mom to the Sweet HOme Alabama song ~ as he hails from Alabama originally. The couple also participated in a log cutting ceremony as this is tradition in Sarah’s family. 
The Loft 310 at http://loft310.co/ is top rate wedding reception venue!! The room was gorgeous, service is phenomenal, location ideal, food so yummy and DJ Bob kept the party going! 
Before the magical evening ended, we snuck up to the roof top for photos overlooking the quaint city of Kalamazoo! It was the perfect day!
