Not all blind dates are a disaster, Nate and Heather met on a blind date and are now happily married! They compliment each other well as he is in construction and she is an interior decorator, I’m sure their home together will be Parade of Homes worthy! They are kind and caring individuals and a dream to work with! The weather could not have been more perfect for March 12 in Michigan! After a touching first look at Milwood Community Church, we cruised down to Milham Park with the bridal party to make the best of the beautiful day! Milham Park did not disappoint!!It is a beautiful location for wedding photos with the beautiful trees, spacious lawn, lively creeks and quaint old rock bridges. Her dress from Memories Bridal in downtown Kalamazoo was a perfect fit and the long veil accented it perfectly!
After the park we rolled downtown Kalamazoo to Loft 310 to take some unique photos overlooking the downtown area. Back to the Milwood Community church located on Lovers Lane ~ of course we had to have a photo with the Lover’s Lane street sign! Her parents were married in the same church many years ago so it was a sentimental location.
The ceremony was beautiful! The bridal bouquets were stunning and reception hall was decorated so beautifully by Post Petals poshpetalsfloral.com! Heather’s details were perfect! Bert’s Bakery did not disappoint on their yummy wedding cake! The night was perfect and the dance floor was hopping with friends and family. Their videographer, Jon Carson and his wife did a fabulous job on the video. He even did a highlight video of me in action!! You can find it at this link: MY COOL VIDEO!
Never give up on blind dates!! It was an honor to photograph this beautiful couple and their Kalamazoo Wedding!!
