Outdoor Wedding At Kellogg Manor
Love is like water.
We can fall in it,
We can drown in it.
And we can’t live without it.
Anthony and Rachel exude the kind of love that is deep and true. They chose the picturesque Kellogg Manor House as the venue to celebrate their union. Their simple and classy outdoor wedding was situated right on beautiful grounds overlooking the breathtaking view of Gull Lake. With about 55 guests the day had an intimate destination wedding feel. Rachel selected her unique wedding gown from America’s Bride gown shop in Grand Rapids and it fit her perfectly! She dressed in the historic bedroom setting with the view from her window out to the charming garden where the couple had their first look. There were so many unique backdrops to take their wedding photos in front of ~ from windmill, to garden, to bridge over island, to charming manor, to stunning Gull Lake view it was all breathtaking!
The heartfelt vows between bride and groom as well as sincere toasts from the best man and maid of honor were windows into their life. The best man told of how when in elementary school he was being picked on by four bigger kids when out of no where Anthony came to his defense. He selected specialty pocket watches for his groomsman that had engraved messages. The girls shared memories from childhood. We dined on the back patio with the manor house as the backdrop. The couple and their family and friends danced the night away in the back porch of the historic manor.
The weather was cloudy and gray with a sprinkle of rain occasionally, but their love was bright! So honored to be the wedding photographer for this great couple and document their memories to last a lifetime!!
